Feature

Arabic first.
Then the world.

Most checkers treat Arabic as an afterthought. WriteX was built for it and checks English with sentence-level correction alongside it. Spanish is next, on the models that came with the Correcto acquisition.

Arabic

The most advanced linguistic proofreader for Arabic.

Morphology as a first-class category, hamza rules with real pedagogy, tashkeel on demand, dual-calendar dates, dignitary titles, and Quranic verse formatting. Built by the team behind 24 billion proofread words.

Spanish · coming soon

Spanish is next, and it is being built properly.

Correcto shipped a Spanish writing assistant to the web, Chrome, and Word, powered by purpose-built Spanish models: sentence and word correction, Spanish named-entity recognition, and tone and formality technology. Lisan acquired that team and technology, and Spanish inside WriteX is being built on it. It is not available in the product yet.

  • Native Spanish rules, not translated English heuristics.
  • Rewrite suggestions, synonyms, and custom vocabulary.
  • The same governance and analytics as Arabic and English.

Frequently asked questions

Which language is checked when a document mixes Arabic and English?

Both. The engine detects the language per passage and applies the right rule set, so bilingual documents, common in Gulf institutions, are fully covered.

Is Spanish available today?

Not yet. Arabic and English are live in the engine and in every surface. Spanish is in development on the Correcto models and will be announced when it ships; contact us if you need it on a specific timeline.

What exactly did the Correcto acquisition add?

A shipped Spanish writing assistant (web app, Chrome extension, Word add-in), purpose-built Spanish correction and NER models, tone and formality technology, and the team behind them. Spanish support in WriteX is being built on that foundation.

Are more languages coming?

Yes. The engine is language-modular, Spanish is next, and the roadmap adds languages based on institutional demand.

Every word your institution writes, checked.

Official letters to social posts, Arabic and English alike. One assistant that proofreads, enforces your style, and explains every correction, wherever your teams write.
